Originating from the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, the primitive Hebridean sheep is a hardy, and easy-to-manage breed ideally suited to smallholders. We have bred them for almost 10 years now with little trouble along the way. The ewes are amazing mums, and lambs are on their feet within a few minutes of being born. We have a flock of 40, a mix of Breeding Ewes, shearling ewes, wethers (castrated) males, and a couple of breeding Rams.
