Welcome to the Slate House Farm website, my wife, 3 children and I have moved from the large town of Bexleyheath in north Kent to the quiet and open countryside just outside of Boston, Lincolnshire. Moving with us are 35 chickens, 7 duck, 5 turkeys, 3 cats, 2 guinea pigs, 1 hamster, 1 dog and a snake. Its a huge change in life style for us, but one for all the better, as we strive for the self sufficient life on a 2.5 acre small holding.
