Description
Apex Roof Nesting Box
A traditional, hand-built wooden nesting box designed to provide a safe and sheltered place for garden birds to raise their young.
Made from solid timber, each box is glued and nailed for strength and durability, making it suitable for year-round outdoor use.
Choose your preferred entrance hole size depending on the species you would like to encourage:
- 25mm – Blue Tit, Coal Tit, Marsh Tit
- 28mm – Great Tit, Tree Sparrow, Pied Flycatcher
- 32mm – House Sparrow, Nuthatch, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker
Selecting the correct entrance hole size helps provide a suitable nesting space for your chosen garden birds while helping to discourage larger species from taking over the box.
The roof lifts open to make the box easy to empty and clean at the end of the nesting season, with a discreet magnet keeping the lid securely closed during normal use.

Children’s Build Your Own Kit
Turn your new bird box into a fun and educational project with our Children’s Build Your Own Kit.
Everything needed to build the box is included. All timber pieces come pre-cut and clearly marked, so there’s no measuring or sawing required. Nails are provided, together with full, easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions to help children assemble their own nesting box with adult supervision.
Once completed, they’ll have a proper, usable wooden nest box to put up in the garden — and the satisfaction of knowing they built it themselves.
