Lambing shed already for non Pedigree ewes coming home tomorrow. Just 3weeks till lambing
Our first goos egg of the season, in previous years the earliest they have laid has been January 25th, this little nugget of gold was laid yesterday :)
So making a start on my “Kitchen Garden”. I've been on my smallholding now for 9 years, and always grown bit a fruit and veg, mainly in the polytunnel and handful of raised beds. But this year decided to push myself, grow more for sustainability, so have used a couple of my retired pig pens to make a plot. It's about 12 x 20m and as you can see it still quite boggy from pigs in places, but have got the first bed done, and sewn my garlic and shallots.
