Half Hebridean Hogget (Deposit Only)


Hebridean sheep are generally table ready between 15-20 months of age, as a result, you can’t really classify it as lamb, it’s actually hogged. Due to the slower growth rates, the meat has more flavour, but still as tender as a traditional lamb. The superior flavour of this slower grown sheep is second to none.  Our Hebridean hogget boxes will be available around Easter. The average weight for half a hogget is 6-7kg. The lamb will be butchered to your exact requirement.

The price for a whole hogget is charged at £11/kg, and you pay for the carcass/pre-butchered weight. For example, if the carcass comes back at 6.8kg you pay for £74.80

The hogget can be collected from the farm or mainland UK overnight delivery can be arranged for an additional £18.

When you place the order, you are just paying a £40 deposit, the remaining balance is paid on collection or before dispatch.

I will contact you upon receipt of deposit to confirm the order and discuss your butchery requirements, the exact date for collection/delivery will be advised once I have arranged with the butcher.  The next batch is expected late March to early April
