Hebridean sheep are generally table ready between 18-20 months of age, as a result you can’t really classify it as lamb, its actually hogged. Due to the slower growing rates, the meat has more flavour, but still as tender as traditional lamb. The superior flavour of this slower grown sheep is second to none. Our Hebridean hogged boxes will be available late august early September, and can be purchased as half or whole. The minimum weight for a for a whole lamb is 15kg.
