Hebridean Hogget(Lamb) Boxes

Hebridean sheep are generally table ready between 18-20 months of age, as a result you can’t really classify it as lamb, its actually hogged. Due to the slower growing rates, the meat has more flavour, but still as tender as traditional lamb. The superior flavour of this slower grown sheep is second to none.  Our Hebridean hogged boxes will be available late august early September, and can be purchased as half or whole. The minimum weight for a for a whole lamb is 15kg.

Half Hebridean Hogget meat box £80

Whole Hebridean Hogget meat box £150

The meat is butchered to your requirement, and sausages can be made for an additional charge of £3.00/kg.

Lamb boxes can be collected from he farm, or couriered overnight for an additional charge (UK mainland only)

If you would like to reserve a lamb box please get in touch, no deposit is required. Or you can buy from us Online via BigBarn.co.uk

Pigs all loaded for the abattoir, never seen a trailer before and loaded in 30 seconds no trouble. Think they're glad to be out the mud, but my clean trailer is now not so lol - neither am I.
